Pay not attention, saving the link for later. If you’re interested, it’s a download link for a 2.8gb e-book on living off-grid. I got it off the Silk Road.

The ghost of corporate future
“Imagine you go away, on a business trip one day
And when you come back home,
your children have grown and you never made your wife moan and
your children have grown and you never made your wife moan”
The ghost of corporate future. We are haunted, day and night, by the notion of money, or lack thereof. We work 9 to 5, just to sustain our families, and we work overtime so the little time we have free can be spent doing something deemed enjoyable. This is life as it is today. We work, and in-between our bouts of labour, which we generally dislike, we slouch in front of a large shiny box, while propaganda, social conventions and normality are spat in our face in a melting pot of conformity and obedience. We see this as necessary however, and have no desire to dis-obey the system as it is today. We live to work, whereas we should work to live.
Our very lives are spent toiling away at tasks we care little about. You may miss your daughters first words, for the sake of promotion. Your little boy, left at the fields after football practice, as you were forced to stay back and file invoices. This is what is destroying the family, and the very ties that bind our communities together. Unity and friendship.
Your son no longer greets you with a smile and a hug, just a half-hearted ‘hey’ as he stares, almost inanimate, at the screen of a smartphone. What were once the strongest bonds in the world are being torn down by our destructive system of growth for the sake of profit, work for the sake of profit. A system that pushes mindless consumerism and trend-following on even the youngest of children. No one is out of bounds for the manipulative and cold-palmed hands of Imperialism and Capitalism.
We must liberate our minds from this herd-mentality, and break away from the fashions, the trends, the ‘norms’ of society.
We are at a fork in the road, and history can only choose one of the two paths. We can sit back and follow the path of destruction, authoritarianism uniformity and obedience. Or, we can choose the path of sustainability, unity, liberty and love.

Politics has somehow became the area of the boring, middle-aged man. Why is it that so few young adults take any notice of what is going on in today’s society? Our self-infatuation and ego causes us to not care for anything outside our spectre of life. If we were all to start caring, their would be change. This is not what the want.
